COMMISSIONED WORKS:

Concerto for Four Soloist (2011) Tabla master Zakir Hussain commissioned me to orchestrate his new concerto for four soloists. The 35 minute work was performed at the Kennedy Center by the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington D.C. on March 3-5, 2011, under the baton of Christoph Eschenbach. The four soloists were Zakir Hussain, tabla, Shankar Mahadevan, vocals, Hariharan, vocals, and Kelley O'Conor, mezzo-soprano.

Vertical Tango (2004) for Sam Payne and Sandra Feusi’s duo Chinese Pole Act, Zurich, Switzerland [trumpet, baritone, guitar, drums, cello, piano, guitar, and accordion- 8 minutes] Sam and Sandra's Act won the Gold Medal at Cirque de Demain's International Circus Festival in Paris in 2005.
